"Who even goes to Bosnia?
That's kind of what we thought when our two travel buddies suggested
we'd jump on a bus from Split, Croatia, to Mostar in Bosnia.
Don't get us wrong, it's not like that put us off, the total opposite actually. We love to go to strange and a bit more unusual destinations and after a whole week in Split it was about time we gave our livers a rest"

DAY TRIP TO

KRAVICE FALLS IS A STUNNING WATERFALL LOCATED ABOUT 50 MINS FROM MOSTAR TOWN. UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT THERE, SO YOU HAVE TO EITHER RENT A CAR, GO BY TAXI OR BOOK A TOUR. TOURS RUN DAILY AND IS EASIEST BOOKED AT YOUR HOTEL OR HOSTEL. THE FALLS ARE GORGEOUS AND REALLY NICE TO SWIM IN BUT KEEP IN MIND IT GETS VERY BUSY SO WE RECOMMEND GOING EARLY IN THE MORNING. THEN YOUR BEST OPTION IS TO RENT A CAR.

Stari Most is the rebuilt 16th century bridge that connects the two parts of the city of Mostar. It's located in the heart of Mostar and nowadays known for thrill seekers jumping off the edge, 24m down in to the river. If you don't want to jump you can always watch the locals do it. We were a bit to scared hehe.. Either way it's beautiful to look at!

You don't have to look far to find some amazing views in Mostar

JUST WALKING ALONG THE RIVER AND CROSSING THE BRIDGES YOU'LL GET A GREAT VIEW OF THE AMAZINGLY BLUE WATER FLOWING THROUGH THE CITY

It's not really allowed but if you want amazing views over the city, there is an old abandoned bank building here where you can climb up to the roof. It's actually an old sniper hide out and theres a lot of cool grafitti in the building but the views up top is the definite highlight
